Cancer is not scary, but the hype surrounding the disease CANCER creates havoc not only in the mind of the patient but also to the entire family.  Cancer can be cured with positive approach & necessary medical treatment.  Diagnosis at an early stage plays an important role in the successful treatment of the disease. Only obstacle in the path of a common man is the high cost of treatment. This is the story of a school going 9 year old boy named Bikram – who is diagnosed with B-ALL (a type of Blood cancer).  In January, 2016, Bikram  had to give up school due to this disease, and is confined to bed since then for painful treatment. Doctors have advised for Chemotherapy and Supportive Care and the approx. cost of the treatment is estimated to Rs. 2.45 lacs. which has shattered the entire family. Moreover, the duration period is 2½ years. His father was earning around  Rs. 4000/- p.m. but now he is jobless because of his son's illness and no income whatsoever to even support his other family members. He has approached CARF for help so that his child's treatment is not stopped due to lack of funds. To help Bikram to get cured and resume school life once again, we appeal to all you kind hearted people to donate generously to bring a smile and new life to this boy and his family.
