Baby Supriya, was born a perfectly normal and a healthy girl. All that changed in the year 2017. Baby Supriya started complaining about severe headaches in December 2017. Upon taking MRI and CT-scan the reports clearly mentioned that she has Rhabdoid Tumor of the brain. Rhabdoid tumor is a rare form of cancer. This form of cancer accounts for less than ten percent of all childhood brain tumors. The prognosis is not good. She had a surgery done in 2017 for her Rhabdoid tumor. For a while, she felt like a pretty normal 10 year old girl again. She had undergone 13 radiation sessions after her surgery. Her father is poor farmer with monthly income of just Rs.3100/-. Baby Supriya need to undergo more number of chemo cycles. Her treatments cost of Rs. 2 Lacs is a huge burden for her whole family. Her family had approached CARF to save their daughter's life.
