These rules concerning grant of Membership to any individual, are framed and approved by the Board of Trustees as Clause 22 of the Trust Deed, in the meeting held on 10th December 2005. These rules approved by the Board of Trustees, do not confirm on the Life Members any rights including the right to vote and participate in the making of the policy matters of the Foundation / Area Unit.
| The following rules are laid down by the Board of Trustees for this purpose: |

The Board of Trustees are authorized to enroll “Life Members” of the Foundation. Those who desire to become ‘Life Member' will have to fill-up the prescribed form available from the Foundation office and shall pay Rs. 10,000/- as his one time donation and submit the same for the approval of the Chairman of the Foundation. The Chairman shall have the power to reject any such application form without assigning any reason. |

The Life Members shall be issued laminated ‘Identity Cards' carrying their photos, so that it will be easy for them to identify themselves anywhere.

|
The Life Members are entitled to receive all the publications / notices of the Foundation / Area Unit, published / issued from time to time. |

|
The job of the Life Members shall be to collect donations, advertisements, sponsorships etc. for the Foundation / Area Unit. They shall also work to create awareness about the dreaded disease – Cancer – among the people of the area in which they are expected / supposed to be functioning. The Life Members should also visit, study and submit report to the Chairman of the Foundation, about other N.G.O working in the field of Cancer.

The Life Members shall also assist in all forms, the Area Unit of the ‘Cancer Aid & Research Foundation' established as per Clause 20(II) of the Trust Deed, so that it can become effective Area Unit of the Foundation. |

The Board of Trustees reserve the right to make necessary changes in the above rules from time to time. |
| |
|
|
The Life Members can forward their suggestions in writing for the improvement of the Foundation activities, subject to their acceptance by the Chairman / Secretary. |

|
|
The Chairman shall have the power to expell any Life Member from the membership, when it is found that his / her activities are against the interest of the Foundation. |
| |
|
|
The Chairman before passing an order of expelling any Life Member will issue show cause notice and give one hearing to such a defaulting / erring Life Member. |
