KOKAN CANCER HOSPITAL - RATNAGIRI

The Foundation stone laying ceremony for the Cancer Diagnostic Centre with the Radiotherapy Unit was laid by the well - known Head & Neck Cancer Surgeon, Dr. Rehan A. Kazi on 6th May, 2007 at Ratnagiri. The construction has already been started on 15th M ay, 2007 and is expected to be completed within 1 year. The ultra modern 'Kokan Cancer Hospital' can be named after any donor who gives us a substantial donation for its construction.

For the last few years' statistics show a steady increase of cancer cases in India especially among women and children. Ironically, there is only one specialized Cancer Hospital in Mumbai – Tata Memorial Hospital that falls way short of reaching out to a plethora of cancer patients.

In order to cope with the ever-increasing cancer cases in India , Cancer Aid & Research Foundation has taken the onus and is planning to construct a Cancer Hostel for which the land has already been procured.

In the next stage, we wish to construct a Cancer Hospice, Cancer Diagnostic centre and towards the completion of above, Cancer Hospital and Cancer Research Centre. In order to achieve this Herculean task, the Foundation is looking for donors who are willing to help us build the proposed buildings. The donors name can be given for the Hostel.





 
   
 
Your donations are exempted under the 80G of The Income Tax Act, 1961 Donations to Cancer Hostel, Cancer Hospice & Cancer Diagnostic Centre are 100% exempt u/s 35 AC of income tax act, 1961, vide notification no. 643 (E) dt. 22nd March, 2010 and valid upto 31/03/2012
