Zakat and Donation

Transform Lives with Your Zakat………….This holy month of Ramadan!

Zakat is not just a charitable act; it’s a way of bringing justice. A sacred duty that cleanses our hearts from selfishness and greed, acknowledging that our wealth is a blessing meant to be shared. If your annual wealth exceeds the Nisab threshold, consider donating 2.5% to those in need.

"And be steadfast in Salah (prayer) and give Zakah. Whatever good you send for yourselves, you will find it with Allah. Certainly, Allah is watchful of what you do.” (The Holy Quran 2:110).

With your trust and Zakat contributions, we have provided crucial financial support to numerous cancer patients and those in need, delivering exceptional patient care. This Ramadan, your Zakat can create a substantial impact on the lives of the most vulnerable. Your funds will be dedicated to urgent cancer and medical care, alongside other vital social welfare initiatives for the needy people.

Maximise the impact of your Zakat this Ramadan. Be part of this transformative journey—your Zakat is a beautiful pillar of Islam that we will ensure reaches the neediest.

Join us in making a lasting impact this holy month.

For 24 Amazing Years, we at CARF are proud to have had – and continue to have - a 100% Zakat policy!

Our 100% Zakat policy means every single penny of your Zakat donation will go directly to those who need it most 100% of the time – giving you 100% of the reward.

Zakat in Islam

Zakat is one of the pillars of Islam that must be met by the Muslims who meet certain criteria.

It is a particular amount that need be paid from particular categories of wealth, to particular categories of beneficiaries, with a particular criteria.  Zakat is a blessing, symbolising purity, kindness, and a contribution to the development of entitled recipients.

There are eight categories of beneficiaries who are eligible to receive Zakat, which are clearly stated in the Quran (Surah At-Taubah:60) Allah (swt) says in this verse: “Zakah expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect (zakah) and for bringing hearts together (for Islam) and for freeing captives (or slaves) and for those in debt and for the cause of Allah and for the (stranded) traveller – an obligation (imposed) by Allah. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.”

Any Muslim who possesses the required nisaab (the minimum amount of wealth that one must have before zakat is payable) for one whole year is bound to pay Zakat on that wealth.  According to Islamic regulations, Zakat is 2.5% of one year’s total cumulative wealth.

Zakat Al Maal can be paid any time during the year and many choose to pay their Zakat during Ramadan.

Zakat Charity

We extend our deepest gratitude to all our esteemed donors for their unwavering support, during the sacred month of Ramadan every year, through their generous Zakat contributions. Your divine and precious charity has been instrumental in providing vital assistance to deserving cancer patients. With heartfelt gratitude, we affirm that every penny of the Zakat amount has been utilized for the welfare of those battling cancer.

Alhamdulillah, for many years, we have been dedicated to assisting cancer patients, making significant strides in the field of oncology. In the past year, your contributions have not only provided financial and medical aid to cancer patients but have also supported various social welfare projects. Through initiatives like Mission Sahay medical camps, food distribution programmes, Ration kit distribution, different kits distribution, cheque distribution programmes, charity events during festivals and other patient welfare projects, we have endeavored to make a positive impact on society.

We are immensely grateful for your continued support, which has enabled us to touch the lives of countless individuals. As we approach another Ramadan this year, we earnestly hope for your continued generosity. Once again, thank you for your invaluable support.
