Each year, the parents of approximately 15,700 kids will hear the words “your child has cancer.” Across all ages, ethnic groups and socio - economics, this disease remains the number one cause of death by disease in children. Such a scenario occurred in the life of Master Prathmesh, who is suffering from Hodgkin's Lymphoma (a type of Blood Cancer).

Prathmesh is a 9 year old school going boy. Prathmesh requires special procedures with diagnostic investigation and medicines to be completely cured from this disease. As his prognosis is moderately good, he requires minimum 6 months of treatment and medicines. His treatment costs around Rs. 3 Lakhs.

Prathmesh's father is a helper and is the only earning member of his family of 10. With an income of approx. Rs. 4000/- p.m, he is unable to bear the expense of the treatment. He is trying all possible ways to give the best treatment for his son and bring the happiness back on his face. In this quest he approached CARF for help in this hour of need.
