­­Cancer is one of the most important non-infectious or non-communicable diseases. It is referred to as an ailment characterised by an unrestrained growth of abnormal cells which if untreated and unchecked eventually kills the patient. Master Sarthak a 5 year old innocent child has fallen prey to such an illness. A healthy chubby child suddenly started complaining of body pain. They consulted their family doctor and after doing further pathology tests, he was diagnosed of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (a type of Blood Cancer). His father is a small time labourer & earns around Rs. 2000/- p.m. With this income he has to feed 4 family members besides other expenses. Now he needs Rs. 2.25 lacs for the treatment of his son for Chemotherapy & Supportive care as advised by the doctor. This huge medical expenditure has become a big burden on his father for which reason he has approached CARF for financial & medical help. A humble plea goes out to all caring & good hearted benefactors like you to help us save Master Sarthak’s life.
