My son has been fighting for his life since he was a 5-year-old. Now years later, he is still fighting. However, the cancer seems to take more and more control of his body. I can’t help but think, will God spare my child this time or will cancer actually take him away from me? In 2016 he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and he was treated well but in January, 2019 we went for his regular check – up and found out that he is suffering from Relapsed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. My Son Master Rudra is 9 years old and he has already gone through a lot. With my job I have somehow managed to get his treatment done the first time with the help of friends and relatives. Now, as his cancer is relapsed and during lockdown I have lost my job it is very difficult to manage our daily life. Now the treatment cost is Rs.20 to 25 lakhs which includes Bone Marrow Transplant surgery and other treatment plans which is the only solution to save my son. What my son has been going through for years is awful. But we have had the opportunity to at least seek treatment for him with the tremendous support of CARF. CARF and I request to all the kind hearted people to come ahead and Save Rudra’s life.
