CAN YOU HELP TO SAVE HIS/HER LIFE ?

My name is Ajit Misal and by profession I am a counter staff at general stores. I am hopeful that these entire efforts will give my 3-years-old son – Jeet, the desired treatment and a speedy recovery. I will never forget the day when our little boy was given in my arms first time after his birth. It was the happiest day of my life. It surprised me the way his tiny fingers reached out towards me. My heart was full with joy and a feeling that our family was finally complete. Unfortunately, the blissful days of watching his giggles, flailing arms and cries stayed with us, only for the first few days after our son’s birth. Since then, we have been continuously running around hospitals for his treatment. Right from his birth, he frequently fell sick with recurring fever and cough. But during his sixth month, one day we noticed that he was unusually warm with high fever. On consulting the pediatrician, we followed the suggested medical plan, but as of such there was no improvement, rather it worsened his health. So, we were suggested for the blood tests in which it was reported of very low haemoglobin and platelet counts with increased WBC count. Then we rushed him to the hospital, thereafter with couple of medical investigations; it was revealed to us that our little son is suffering from a rare type of blood disorder known as “Thalassemia Major.” At that time the suggested treatment plan told to us was periodic blood transfusion and we have been undergoing the same since then. During January 2022, again Jeet’s health moved towards deteriorated state. On re-consulting the doctor, and after doing other medical investigations, the only curative option suggested is BMT treatment which will cost us the estimate of Rs. 25, 00,000/- approx. Sadly despite of borrowing high-interest loans from the bank and contributions from our relatives; the amount needed for Jeet’s treatment is far beyond our reach. Every little saving which we possessed has been spent on his treatment so far. Now I truly don’t know from where does an impoverished family like ours can arrange this hefty amount to save our son. Therefore, at this juncture, we plead you for help. Please come ahead and support us in saving our son.
