We were more excited and glad when our daughter Arohi was born. We felt blessed with a new meaning in life. Watching her growing little hands and sweet smile, our days were always brighter. But our joy did not last long, as it all began with unfortunate times during 2018; When Arohi was one and a half year old and continuously fell sick with recurrent fever and coughs. We took her to the hospital, and her diagnosis left us in shock. It was the first time, she was diagnosed of “Pre- B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia” (type of blood cancer). The news devastated us, as my little daughter will have to endure all hardships that she can’t even understand at her age. Without losing hope and trusting god, we gathered all our savings and rest of funds collected by selling jewellery of my wife, we could successfully complete the prescribed treatment of 2.5 years. After 9 months, unfortunately, again during December 2021, when we visited hospital for her check up at that time the doctors on examination suggested us for blood test and the reports gave us a terrific shock as she was suffering of “Relapsed Pre –B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.” Since then from past few months she has been confined to a hospital bed, where she must endure painful treatments in order to survive. But watching our baby suffer isn't the only pain we have to bear; we need to raise the estimated cost of approx Rs. 8 lakhs for her treatment and medications. Earlier I worked as a helper for a small printing press. Currently due to Arohi’s treatment & hospitalisation, I left my job. Our financial situation is extremely precarious, as my wife is also suffering from medical health problems. Now, we have nothing left with us to afford Arohi’s treatment. The prospect of losing my daughter frightens me, but my inability to assist her in her pain makes me feel worthless. I rely on you to save my daughter
