CAN YOU HELP TO SAVE HIS/HER LIFE ?

My name is Arun. I am a farmer by profession, located at Uttar Pradesh. I am hopeful that these entire efforts will give my younger son – Dev Kumar needed treatment and a speedy recovery. Dev is an adoring son, responsible brother, a brilliant student and a best friend. He is very humble and good to everyone. He helps his mother in household chores. He has been always helping others also. But unfortunately things have changed now and he is the one who desperately needs help. During December 2021, he complained about severe stomach ache and after consulting our family physician, with the medicines he became alright. But since then, he always felt constant weakness during his online studies. Therefore, we underwent blood tests as advised by doctor, in which after ruling out certain changes, BMT test was done, through which he was diagnosed of “Acute Myeloid Leukemia” (type of blood cancer) during February 2022. At that time, the only suggested cure was Bone marrow transplant (BMT) treatment costing Rs. 25,00,000/- approx. Despite of several financial constraints, by god’s grace without losing to fate, we could successfully complete his BMT treatment. Everything went well, till April 2022. Later Dev started developing certain complications like decreased hemoglobin and platelet counts with increased WBC count. Then, on re-consulting the doctor we were again advised for BMT test, in which it was reported that the first BMT graft has failed and an urgent second transplant is needed, costing around approx Rs. 29,00,000/- followed by other medical support and to perform this second   transplant we are still struggling for funds. The money we gathered from selling our agricultural land and borrowed funds was exhausted during his first BMT. Currently due to Dev’s treatment, we have shifted to my friend’s house at Mumbai. I have lost my only source of agricultural income. It’s been a year now watching Dev struggle with life. I brought my son into this world with lot of hopes, but I will fail as a father if I lose him.
