CARF Rehabilitation Center (CRC)

The purpose of Rehabilitation is to reset the useful life of a person by which they can contribute to themselves & to society. Rehabilitation enables the patients live normal lives and thus helping them to regain their social status.

Cancer treatment is a long term procedure, therefore employment or some source of income to cancer survivors empowers them and reduce their mental as well as financial burden to some extent. Rehabilitation helps them in getting their self confidence & self respect back and also encourages them to take part in day to day life. Keeping this thing in mind, CARF has established its own rehabilitation centre known as ‘CARF Rehabilitation Centre (CRC)’ in the year 2013.

OUR ACTIVITIES

With the CRC we provide training to cancer patients & their relatives in making paper bags, candles, craft items and more as per their skills. We also pay them on day to day basis. This helps them to a great extent to meet their daily expenses. In addition to training we also conduct job placement for them in or outside CARF by using our contacts and tie-up with different placement agencies.

With the help of charity sale, we raise funds by selling the products prepared by cancer patients in our CRC activity. All the funds received through charity sale are fully utilized for the welfare of poor and needy cancer patients.

OUR FUTURE PLANS

After giving them essential training and employment, we visit these families periodically, look into their requirements and chalk out suitable welfare programs, so that these cancer survivor’s families can live a regular and decent life.
