Our Founder
Late Prof. Shri A A Kazi was a Degree holder in M.A. & LLB from Bombay University. He was Professor and Head of the department of Political Science at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and later, he became a Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Mumbai University, India. In 1969, Prof. A.A. Kazi was honored with an Award of ‘Justice of Peace’ by the Government of Maharashtra.
He was a Municipal Councilor of Bombay Municipal Corporation during the period 1978-84. He founded CARF in 2001 and had a high sense of responsibility towards the under privileged people suffering from cancer. He worked tirelessly so that today CARF stands as one of the biggest medical NGO in India.

Our Co-Founder
Late Mrs. Rashida A. Kazi Pursued her M.A. in Persian & Urdu with Graduation in B.ED. She had been the Principal of Anjuman – i – Islam Dr. Ishaq Jamkhanawalla Girls’ High School & Jr. College of Science and Commerce, Bandra (West), Mumbai. Mrs. Kazi has published a book by name “Parvaz’ which is a collection of Urdu Essays. “State Award for Best Teacher” was awarded to her by the Govt. of Maharashtra in 1993. She has been the Vice – President of Bazm e-Niswan, Maharashtra.
CARF is a registered Medical NGO & a growing patient friendly foundation, dedicated to serve for human care with sincere devotion and trust in the field of cancer care. Our committed goal is providing progressive cancer care support and functioning for a variety of purposes that are beneficial for the deprived population of our country.
