Mrs. Sangeeta Jain
“In 2021, at the age of 51, Mrs. Sangeeta Jain, a homemaker and single mother, began experiencing difficulty swallowing, persistent acidity, and throat discomfort. Initially mistaken for tonsillitis, her symptoms continued for nearly two months, accompanied by significant weight loss.
Medical investigations and an endoscopy eventually revealed the heartbreaking diagnosis — Esophageal Cancer.
With her son as the family’s only earning member, the diagnosis brought immense emotional and financial challenges. Yet, determined to save his mother, he stood by her through every difficult step.
Sangeeta underwent a total esophagectomy, followed by radiation therapy and chemotherapy. The journey was physically and emotionally demanding, but her courage never wavered.
Today, Sangeeta is doing well and attending regular follow-ups, with her son continuing to be her strongest support.
Her journey reminds us that behind every cancer survivor is a story of courage—and often, a family that refuses to give up. Your support can help more families find hope, treatment, and a second chance at life.
