11 year old Rikita Basak is a school going girl being diagnosed with T Lymphoblastic Leukemia (a type of Blood Cancer). At the moment she is undergoing medical treatment & has been suggested Allogeneic peripheral Blood Stem transplantation by the doctors. If treated in time her life can be saved. The cost of this medical procedure is estimated to approx. Rs. 12 Lacs. Her father being the sole bread earner of the family finds it very difficult to make two ends meet in feeding a family of 6 members. He is a small time vegetable —vendor with a monthly income of Rs. 5000/-. Seeing the family’s present financial condition, Rikita’s treatment is just impossible. They have approached CARF for financial help and we on behalf of Rikita are sending a humble appeal to all you kind & generous donors to please come forward & help this child, who is hoping for a new lease of life.
