Millions of people live below poverty line and Dhanshree, 13 yrs. child who is suffering from Rhabdomyosarcoma of the nasopharynx (a type of cancer) is one of them. She have been advised hospitalization for approx. 3 years including investigation, medicines, special procedure, for which the estimated cost suggested by doctors would be approx. Rs.10 lacs. Her father is a driver earning around Rs.4000/- p.m. and has to feed seven of his family members. It is a huge burden on him and he is not able to shoulder it due to poor financial conditions. After getting to know about CARF from reliable sources, he approached us for help. CARF’s mission is to reach out to as many poor cancer patients and help them to survive and live life.
