"12-year-old Bhargav still doesn't know why he has to stay away from his father and mother and why he has to undergo painful injections. He keeps asking me, but we can't tell him the truth. We promise him that he will be fine soon, that the pain he is going through is only temporary. I don't have the heart to tell my son that he is fighting cancer. I try to be cheerful in front of him but often fails. I am under huge debts and am afraid that I will not be able to continue my Son's treatment. Bhargav has always been a healthy child. He hasn't ever complained of pain or a simple fever. Last year he started suffering from fever suddenly and severe leg pain. We consulted our family physician and he gave him medications. This cycle of medicines continued for 15 days. As the fever stopped he started with bad cough and this was a continous problem for quite some time. Doctors suggested to take immediate MRI and CT scan as this continous fever was suspicious for them. As the results arrived it was confirmed as T- cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He was hospitalized and doctors recommended chemo cycles along with radiation. Our worst fears came true here. Our Son was diagnosed with - cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia. The infection-fighting cells in his body are changing and growing out of control, he needs treatment. I am a office boy by profession and the total amount of Rs.10 lakh for his treatment is huge for me and my family. We were suggested to approach CARF for getting help. CARF has been most helpful to us and we are together finding help for my son's treatment. My Son is fighting deadly cancer but he has hope of getting better. I am running from pillar to post to save him but nothing is enough. With your help, Bhargav can overcome this disease"
