CAN YOU HELP TO SAVE HIS/HER LIFE ?

Rajvir was always playful and was full of energy. He used to jump around in our house and always had a smile on his face. All was going well, till he was diagnosed with cancer, just few days before his 3rd birthday. He was suffering from fever and body pain. We took him to our doctor and medicines were given. Even after continuously giving medicines his fever was not reducing so we took him to a bigger hospital. Doctor’s suggested to do some immediate tests and started monitoring his case. He cried throughout the car ride to the hospital and we could not understand what was causing that. We sat anxiously in the waiting room while the doctors ran a few tests. The doctors informed us that Rajvir was suffering from Severe Thalassemia. We were shattered. We couldn’t believe we were close to losing our son. The thought of losing our son is really scary. It breaks our heart to see our child in this condition. Doctor’s suggested the only curative option for his condition is bone marrow transplant. He is undergoing regular blood transfusion from months of age. This has drained all our income and savings and we need funds to keep his treatment going on. After detailed checking it was found that my wife is a matched donor of Bone Marrow. The overall cost of the transplant would be about Rs.13 Lakhs. I am a labourer by profession so this amount is really huge for us to bear. In this time of despair, we have approached Cancer Aid & Research Foundation (CARF) for help and together we request the support of all kind hearted people to help save my son. Please help save our little fighter who always has a smile on his face. We request you to contribute generously for our child’s treatment.
