I have lost one child; I don’t want to lose another to Cancer. It is said that "Prayers have healing powers" and we are deep believers and strong proponents of such a foundational idea. Even after going through such a disastrous situation of losing our child due to cardio respiratory attack we still hope to save our other daughter. We were a really happy family as we had twin daughters who were our lifelines. A major disaster took away my one daughter because of heart disease and now my other daughter is suffering from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. We were just getting over the shock over the loss of our daughter when our other daughter Baby Manaswani started getting regular fever and body pain. Even after taking medicines continuously it was not reducing. We had to hospitalise her and doctors did all the necessary tests and confirmed that it is Blood Cancer. Our world came tumbling down and immediately we took all the courage and told doctor that we will do all the possible things to save my daughter. And the gloomiest part of this entire situation is that she is just 3 years and the trauma and pain she has to go through is really disheartening. We have done whatever we could to pump in all the money required for her treatment but the total expense for her treatment is around Rs.10 Lakhs. Already, we had to sell our land to bear the expense for the treatment of my other daughter and now we have another huge task ahead of us. As an additional blow, I have recently lost my job as well because of the COVID-19 layoffs. We have been through extremely torrential days in the last 2 months. The amount required for the entire treatment is quite substantial and we have already exhausted most of our savings. We had no clue what we could do to save our only daughter when CARF came to our life with a helping hand. We have been helped from CARF for immediate treatments and now together me and CARF request the help of all the kind hearted people to come ahead and help us to save our Manaswani. Please keep Manaswani in your prayers and best wishes so that she recovers very soon and enjoys a happy childhood. Hence, I request you to kindly contribute towards Manaswani’s treatment and help us out in this time of need. Every single contribution is important.
