“We used to be a happy family once. Sanskar’s excitement and happiness was our world. Ever since he was very little, he has been very keen in learning things. His smiling face always lighted up our struggling life. It was during the Covid-19 lock-down phase of December 2020, Sanskar began falling sick frequently with unusual high fever, loss of appetite, weakness, body pain and unexplained weight loss. So, we took him to our family physician and followed all the suggested treatment plans, but there was no improvement in his health. Therefore, we underwent further blood tests as advised by our doctor, in which it was detected that WBC count has increased. After conducting several other medical investigations, Sanskar was diagnosed of “Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia” (type of blood cancer), for which the prescribed treatment is costing around Rs. 8,00,000/- approx that includes chemotherapy, drugs, blood and components, investigations and other hospital costs. We hail from Soyanjana village (Jalna district). But currently, due to Swaraj’s treatment we got shifted to Aurangabad at our relative’s house. Previously, I worked as a Garage mechanic, but since these past four months, I lost my only source of income and now I am completely helpless. It has been several months of Sanskar undergoing this treatment. I have not been able to gather enough funds to pay for his treatment. I have begged, borrowed and sold whatever little we owned to raise money for his treatment so far. But right now, we’re helpless. Your kindness is his only chance of survival. Help us fill our house with his laugh and giggles again. Please, help us to save our son!”
