CAN YOU HELP TO SAVE HIS/HER LIFE ?

Our elder son Shravan is truly a blessing for us, as we waited for long to finally be blessed with a baby boy. All we wanted was our small happy world and after Shravan’s arrival, our son entered our life fulfilling all our dreams. We were so engaged with our children, right from watching them smile, crawl, walk first time, speak and play were always been the most happiest and joyful moments of our life. But unfortunately, our peaceful life has been shattered from last year 2021, when all of a sudden, Shravan started falling sick very often suffering from unexplained fever, cough and weakness. On consulting the pediatrician, we followed the suggested medical plan, but as of such there was no improvement in his health. Therefore, we underwent blood tests as advised by doctor, in which after ruling out certain changes, BMT test was done, through which he was diagnosed of “Acute Myeloid Leukemia” (type of blood cancer) during April 2022. Due to his high risk disease status, the only suggested cure is Bone marrow transplant (BMT) treatment costing Rs. 30,00,000/- approx. We stay at Bihar. I am a daily wage labour earning a petite and fluctuated income, to serve our family of six members. But currently due to Shravan’s treatment and financial constraints, we are staying in Mumbai, and at times, due to my work requirement at Bihar, I have to leave him with my old parents so that his treatment does not get impacted. We have sold every little valuable and had borrowed more than what we can return, so that our child’s treatment does not get stopped. Sadly, now we are completely helpless and despite trying our best, we have not been able to arrange the huge amount required for Shravan’s life saving transplant. It is painful for me to watch my little one struggle every day for his life, while I stand helpless next to him. We desperately need your generous support as we are running short of time and options only you can help us to save our son now. My son has already gone through a very painful life. How much more will he suffer? I plead for your kindness and generosity through Cancer Aid & Research Foundation (CARF), as they have assured to help us in Shravan’s treatment plan, which can give him a second chance of painless, happy, and healthy life
