In the tapestry of life, there are threads of hardship that no family should ever have to face. Meet Baby Khushi, daughter of Mr. Mahendra Nikam from Buldhana District. This father has been working hard as a daily wage labourer, for his daughter’s bright future. Since 2022, Khushi began falling sick frequently. The medications lacked impact on her health. Due to Khushi’s deteriorated health, she was rushed to a multi-care hospital. Thereafter, undergoing certain medical tests, the diagnosis revealed of Khushi battling a rare blood cancer – “ETP Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia”. Her only path to recover is a chemotherapy treatment worth Rs. 5 lakhs approx. Khushi's once radiant smile is now marred by the pain and uncertainty that cancer has thrust upon her. Mahendra’s love for his little princess is boundless in his painful words, “When our precious daughter was born, we named her “Khushi”, means 'Happiness' in Hindi. Sadly, my Khushi is in pain now and I am deeply hurted watching her endure this relentless illness that has cast a dark shadow on her childhood. I am reaching out to you with a hope of getting help in this dire hour of need."
