"In this diverse world shaped by unexpected unique circumstances, we come across narratives that underscore the uneven obstacles some confront. Meet Master Aayush, who is undergoing such a poignant journey of life at the very tender age of six years old. During November, 2023, the little world of little Aayush and his family took an unexpected turn.
It began with frequently high fever, tiredness and swelling over legs, loss of appetite with weight loss, leaving his parents deeply concerned about Aayush’s health. Aayush has been taken by his parents for treatment to their regular pediatrician. However, despite their best efforts, his health continued to deteriorate. Then, they were asked to pursue both blood test and sonography. Ruling out certain drastic changes in his blood test reports, they were suggested for BMT test by the examining doctors. Aayush’s BMT reports revealed a harrowing diagnosis of a rare blood cancer "Pre B Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia," plunging his parents into a heart-wrenching journey of shock and disbelief. The estimated cost of his treatment including the chemotherapy & other supportive treatment is worth Rs. 4 lakhs approx, which is far beyond the reach of his family.
Basically the family belongs from Latur. Ayush's father, who was occupied as an auto-driver there, earned a fluctuating meager income that is barely enough to sustain their family's daily needs. Currently due to Aayush’s treatment, they have relocated to Mumbai. Due to Aayush’s medical emergencies and hospitalization, his father is unable to work. The family has exhausted all their funds in Ayush’s treatment so far.
In the endearing words of Mr. Avinash , Ayush’s father, “We were a happy family blessed with two sons. Our children brought immense joy to us, as we adored them each time growing up and becoming more responsible with age. But sadly, the life has changed for my little son Aayush. He has barely lived his life and deserves to enjoy his childhood. My heart aches with a fear of losing him, seeing him in pain.”
