Our journey into parenthood was an emotional tapestry woven with joy and excitement. The anticipation of holding our little Prabhkirat for the first time filled our hearts with boundless joy, marking the beginning of a beautiful chapter. However, our once joy-filled life took an unexpected turn of unimaginable challenges, when Prabhkirat was three years old and diagnosed with a type of blood cancer – “Acute lymphoblastic leukemia.” By god’s grace without losing hopes, since then we have been undergoing the prescribed treatment for him promptly. But, sadly our fate had an unexpected twist awaiting us.
In February 2023, during a routine check-up, our world was shattered when the doctors informed us about his “Relapsed Acute lymphoblastic leukemia”. His only lifeline rests in the costly yet vital solution of a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) treatment, worth Rs. 29 lakhs approx.
As a family from Uttarakhand, we never imagined facing unexpected challenges. We relocated to Mumbai for Prabhkirat's treatment. Due to his frequent hospitalization, currently I am unable to work. The emotional and financial toll on our family has been immense.
