Life's expedition navigates through highs and lows, especially for parents guiding their children. Confronted with unforeseen obstacles, challenges escalate, yet shared kindness illuminates the way, providing comfort and hope for a better tomorrow. Sharing herewith the story of little Tanay, elder son of Mr. Dharmendra Singh from Gorakhpur, currently going through a challenging chapter in his life.
Tanay, a studious natured boy, friendly demeanor, mischievous spirit, and willingness to help others, is now facing a dire threat to his life once again. Since November 2023, Tanay’s life has been overshadowed by frequent sickness, marked by recurring high fever, weight loss, and weakness. Despite undergoing necessary treatment, his health continued to deteriorate, leading to a hospital admission and a series of tests that unveiled Tanay's battle with a relapsed and severe form of blood cancer, impacting the brain – "Late Medullary Relapse Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia." The estimated treatment cost is around Rs. 8 lakhs approx.
Tanay’s father, expressing his sorrow, shares, "Earlier, this cancer had tormented my son, and the cruel fate we never dreamt of is still following us. I cannot bear to lose my son. I earnestly plead for help to save him."
Currently the family has relocated to Mumbai for Tanay's treatment. His father is unable to work due to his frequent hospitalizations. Depleted resources from Tanay's previous treatment leave them with only one hope: your kindness.
