When the mother of the family is unwell the entire family is affected by it. I am a 51 year old housewife staying with my husband and children. In 2016, I started feeling pain on my chest and hand. After that I noticed that there was a small lump on my breast. Immediately, we approached our family doctor and he suggested to another specialist and my sonography, mammography and other tests were done. It was confirmed as Breast cancer. We were told a huge sum for my treatment and my husband could barely meet the needs of our family and this treatment cost was huge. So our doctor suggested us to approach CARF for help and we were welcomed with open hands at CARF and received a lot of help for my surgery and chemotherapy. Really thankful to CARF for supporting me and my family.
